For all ages, Origami Buddy is a blind box toy series where the individual receives a little animal figure to play with. In addition they also get to recreate the animal through origami, the art of paper folding. It is a sustainable package that works on three other levels aside from housing the toy. First, the package acts as a stage when opened so the toy can interact with it. Second, the inside of the stage turns into a coloring panel. And third, the package provides crayons and origami paper. The bright and vibrant colors were chosen to catch someone’s attention, while the font for the branding was slightly manipulated to give it a more playful feeling, and the origami icon locks up with the word mark. Instead of being on digital devices, the overall purpose of this package is to bring back the craft of creating with your hands and to just have fun with toys again.
